Advanced Electrical Conductors: An Overview and Prospects of Metal Nanocomposite and Nanocarbon Based Conductors

چکیده

Advanced electrical conductors that outperform copper and aluminum can revolutionize our lives by enabling billions of dollars in energy savings facilitating a transition to an electric mobility future. Nanocarbons (carbon nanotubes graphene) present unique opportunity for developing advanced power, communications, electronics, machines the defense, energy, automotive industries. Herein, major research progress field nanocarbon-based metal–nanocarbon is compiled. The benefits drawbacks are also elucidated with respect conventional ones their materials science, mechanical physical properties, characterization discussed. Finally, several areas future proposed.
